DIY Duo-Tone SIG (w/ PICS!)

A couple years ago, I snagged a West German SIG P220 for around $200. My guess is it was a police trade in, since the inside was pristine and the only wear and tear was 'shiny edges' from holster wear. So, I had always wanted to refinish the slide, and like the look of bi-tone pistols. I grabbed some titanium-color Duracoat and had at it. Unfortunately, I lost the 'before' pics, but here's the result

Next up on the list is new grips, probably a set of checkered Kingwoods from Hogue, and new sights, and re-black the barrel.

Again, you do some nice work. Now for the new sights---take a look at the "novak's" webpage. Send the slide to them for milling & installation of a set of one of their rocking fixed front & rears.

Have used novak's many times & their work always wows me !!!!

Thank you kindly again I will certainly look up Novak if that's the case, I need the front sight milled because it's integrated to the slide. I'm not the hugest fan of the bar-dot type sights SIG used to use; I much more prefer a 3-dot system. Plus the white dot fell out of the front sight

The machinists at novaks will have no problems getting rid of either the front or rear sight !!!!! I promise you will like their work. I highly recommend them & the t/a time is usually < 10 days.
