TO: HARLEY NOLAN, MY FATHER RECENTLY LET ME HAVE THE FIRST GUN I EVER SHOT, (30 YEARS AGO)I WOULD LIKE TO FIX IT. THE BARREL AND CYLINDER NO LONGER LINE UP. BUT IT'S AN OLD IMPORTED DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER I'VE NEVER HEARD OF. THE BARREL SAY'S BURGO MODELL 100 22 SHORT MADE IN GERMANY. DO YOU KNOW WHERE I COULD GET INFORMATION AND HOPEFULY PART'S FOR THIS THING? THANK YOU.

Hi TDB4 and Harley,

I seem to recall that the Burgo was one of an endless stream of cheap revolvers of the same type as the RG-10. They were the guns to which was applied the term "Saturday Night Special." Most were in .22 short, and had zinc frames. They rarely worked well when new, got out of order fast, and sometimes were downright dangerous. They retailed for $9.95 to $11.95.

I recommend that you keep the gun for its sentimental value, but not try to repair it. Gun Parts Corp. has parts for the RG-10, but I can find no reference to the Burgo in any list.

Jim
