Mykeal,

That's one heck of a collection. On the Rem 44, do 20 grain loads for the brass frame and 30 grain for the steel frame sound about right? Thanks.

Yeah, that's about right. My .44 Remington is best served with 30 gr fffg real black and a lubed felt overpowder wad, and while that's also likely to be closer to the 'best' load for the brass version it would be abuse of the frame in the long run.

Jbar4Ranch,

Are you married or single? If married, how do you manage to accumulate such an arsenal? C'mon, I need some tips here.

Single, but married twice... wasn't very good at it apparently, so it's just me and my daughters running the place now. I seldom drink, don't smoke, and invested wisely.

No, and probably never will. There are over 60 different ones, including the one of a kind presentation models. If you count only those that had 75 or more made, there are still 46 different ones. I'm working for the 46 number. Unfortunately, the ones I still need rarely come up for sale (500 or less made) and/or are very pricey.

My younger brother has a Pietta just like this one, same vintage too. It is actually a very nice piece and shoots quite well.
