Caldwell E-Max Low Profile Electronic Ears

on sale for 19.99 at midway usa. I know they can't be as good as the higher priced spread, but does anyone have any experience with this model?

YUP!!!!!!!! I have had a pair for 2 years now and they are wonderful. I also have a pair of the Walker game ear muffs I use for hunting. Truthfully I can't tell the difference between the 2 in dampening the sound.

Now, if you are going to shoot indoors or if your outdoor range has solid partitions between the shooters, I would recommend you use regular ear plugs under either of the muffs. I say that jic the shooter next door is blasting some type of cannon or is using a muzzle break.....

23 dB ain't much protection. Wear over plugs or get better muffs.
