Need help on Remington 700

I bought a Remington 700 243 Win for my daughter today it's the BDL model but it has engraving on the floor plate and the reciever, I am sure it's factory rolled engraving. Is there a special model for this as I have never seen a standard BDL with engraving. It has a standard butt plate no recoil pad. Is there or was there any special model they made that offered this type of feature.

The engraved models are from a few years ago.
I believe it was done for a couple of years, then dropped.
Not sure if it was for special models or across the board, but I think it was the latter...
So, it IS kind of special for your daughter to have one of these.
She needs to think of it that way!

Lucy girl. My parents are of the gun-restrictive variety.
