Very mall ninja indeed but still has a cool element to it. I personally don't want to spend $800 on a shotgun so I'll stick with the 870.
Innovation is always good to see.

I am sure that high capacity handguns were very "mall ninja" to revolver and 1911 folks back in the day, or whatever was the period-correct term for "mall ninja" back then.
I have taken 3 defensive shotgun classes and in each one we have covered how to change loads quickly and as needed between buckshot and slugs and with KT's new shotgun, it is at most just a matter of flipping a switch and pumping the gun once (assuming buckshot in one tube and slugs in the other).

It's a lot more ergonomic than stuffing 8 rounds out in front of the balance point. Shorter than many NFA shotguns. MSRP is $800. I would expect to eventually see them sell for $550-$600.

thats stupid, everyone knows that if a shotgun holds more than 2 rounds it instantly kills bus loads of orphans and nuns.

The new keltech looks like an awesome weapon to me. beats having to change out traditional mags or emptying tubes to have self defense rounds or anything else.

I second that marrok the new keltec shotgun looks great. I viewed a few vids of it in testing and recoil with magnum loads looks a little stiff, but still very controllable. Great gun for self defence.

In reference to this shotgun, first, its gonna be three years, until you see a live one, if its typical Kel Tec, then, it will cost 2000 for the first year its available, because they will only be shipping three per month, and the Gunbroker idjuts will be willing to pay that for them.
Then, they will come out with a type 2 version, three years after they become common place, that fixes all the bugs, that the type ones had, and they will be unwilling to upgrade you to a type 2 version. Sound silly? Its exactly what happened with the P 32's, and the 380 models, I own three, two have had trigger problems, that caused them to fail, after waiting years to get them, and what really ticked me off, is that they wont upgrade me to a type 2 380, or hard chrome the ones I have, because they they don't do the chrome work, except for the most recent pistol version they have released. Don't hold your breath... Last edited by Shane Tuttle; March 8, 2011 at 12:06 AM. Reason: Inciting to riot |

410 is a great home defence round, the low recoil makes for fast follow up shots. 410 is not just a pest controlling round. Hell guys here even take out whitetail with 410's using slugs.

i have been thinking about buying 2 sbr saiga 410s and making the first over under drum fed skeet guns, dual 200 round drums are best for skeet and home defense
