Welcome aboard. A fuller description and some pics will definitely help us figure out what you have. Stuff like gauge, barrel length, engraving, condition, condition,condition,etc, are needed.

Prices on Stevens are not super high. Most "shooters" are sold for less than $400, some less than $200. Condition and gauge are the biggest factors, but choke, barrel length, chamber length, and whether Bubba owned it also matter.

If it's very old it may have laminated barrels, which render it a shotgun shaped artifact.
