Saiga 12 bolt hold open

The bolt hold open feature quit functioning properly on my Saiga 12. The hold open tab disappears into the receiver and the bolt remain open until I tear the unit down and manually push the hold open tab down and back into normal position. Anybody run into the same issue? How about thoughts on correcting this issue and maybe link to an Illustrated Parts Breakdown drawing. Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Remove it.

The AK's that the gun is patterned after don't have (or need) one. And you won't have to worry about it accidentally activating at the worst possible time.

Sounds like maybe the spring slipped off of it or broke, but without actually seeing it, it's hard to say.

It's *really* easy to reassemble the trigger group and have that spring put back in wrong as well.
