I don't know about that company in particular but when I worked for TSA I got the discounts offered by every company with which I dealt. TSA officers have been officially classified as "law enforcement officers" since, roughly, 2006. The classification change was made to make it easier to transfer to other "law enforcement" careers, particularly within .gov.

I have recieved discounts for being a govt. employee, I don't work for the TSA but I don't see why it would matter which agency it is with. As a customer you can always ask if a govt. discount is available. I have gotten discounts from firearms to hotel rooms, but I also fall under LEOSA and am technically a federal law enforcement officer so I get LE discount even if they don't have a blanket government discount.

Apparently they do. And so what? If a business's model allows for such discounts and they perceive a benefit from offering such, more power to them.

As for who is or is not classified as federal LEOs or not... It doesn't really matter from the point of view of whom a company wants to receive a discount.

They should only get discounts on Taurus Judges and other guns that are waste of time and money. In order to uphold the reputation of the department. (j/k)

TSA classified as LEOs? Oh Pullleeese. I don't believe they have power of arrest. I have never seen one wearing a sidearm or carrying handcuffs. I thought they call a real cop when they get in over their heads.
