2 3/4 magnums in an Ithaca DSPS??
I have an Ithaca NY made Ithaca Deerslayer Police Special. It's chambered for the 2 3/4 12 gauge shell. Can I shoot 2 3/4" magnum shells though it without damaging the weapon?

Yes, the 37 is a well made and designed (by JMB) tool.
You may be get damaged, though. The platform is quite light, and with heavy loads the kick is likely to be emphatic. |

I've shot 2 3/4 mags in my deerslayers for years. More damage to my shoulder than the shotgun. (kills at both ends)
