centurion grenadier 30.06

hey fellas new guy here, i didnt know where to post my question so im going to post it here. my question is does any one know any info on my rifle? its a Centurion Grenadier 30.06 model R186 Golden State Arms Corp, Pasadena, Ca
serial number z-25219. i cant get a pic up right now so bare with me guys. its a hell of an shooter and always got my game. and is there anywhere i can go to upgrade? bull barrel with muzzle break, stock anything at all will be much appreciated

Don't think Golden State exists any longer. They made fairly good sporterized rifles out of military surplus.

I remember them mostly being Mausers.

Just about any military surplus action will have lots of options as far as barrels and stocks. You should have no problem finding parts and a smith that can do the work.

You might consider a DIY project, but you'd have to change your name to Bubba

yeah i read up on them and golden state went out of business years ago while they were up i guess they imported rifles and sporterized them. got to say they done a good job on my rifle, got the gun from some dude traded my .45 p90 ruger for it and dont regret it, and if any one knows what language grenadier centurion is from or the country, thats what im somewhat after to know. and bubba, lol i think ill stick with my old name

Grenadier is French based and an adopted English word. Originally it meant soldiers that were armed with grenades.

Centurion is Latin, iirc it is common to all romance languages. It means a commander of 100 men.

From the looks of the bolt, it probably has a Mauser 98 action.
