smith & wesson model 65-4

My dad picked a smith & wesson .357 mag model 65-4 up for $225. The gun is in excellent condition and shoots really well. He has had it for awhile now but I just thought I would get on here and ask if this was a good deal. And how much a gun like this is worth. Thanks in advance.
I would post some pictures but it won't let me do it from my phone.

Great deal. One of the greatest combat revolvers of all time.

$225 is a smokin' deal, I suspect you already knew that though...

I just picked up a 65-2 myself, no box, no factory grips and a blued cylinder release lever for $350 and I thought I got a good deal. Your deal was a steal!
