How to Quote

I'm confused here. I admit to being slow; it takes me an hour and 1/2 to watch "60 Minutes". But I cannot figure out how to do quotes on my posts. Somewhere in FAQ, instructions are to use the "Quick Reply" caption, marked with a quill pen. I cannot find that caption on any screen I've seen. I've used that feature on several other forums that have a similar format, but I can't find it here.

Can someone throw me a life preserver?

Use the quote tags or enclose your quote in [quote ] [/quote ]

Note: no spaces inside the [ ] and [/ ]
