I've never found that my 5.56 can was any quieter when dirty.

The point about a patch coming off inside the baffle stack is good.... and a good point to make to the idiots who want to PERM a can to a barrel to avoid the second tax stamp on an SBR.

I have never cleaned my 308 or any of my 223 cans. They all sound the same dirty as well. LOL
