What scope for M1A Squad Scout?

I have an M1A Squad Scout and want to put a forward optic on it. Any suggestions out there? I'm thinking 2-4X fixed power

i just removed and replaced my scout mount on my scount witha std handguard. after trying a red dot in the forward spot i decided i was gonna use iron sites or go with a reciever mount (arms18 i think)
