Arminius .22 8 shot revolver hammer wont return
The hammer spring is missing in my gun. I have no idea what it looked like or I would attempt to make a new one. This is an old german gun and I have no idea where to find parts for it. Does anyone know how to make a new one or what I could use. It would be nice to find some schematics. As of now the only way it will fire is with a strong rubber band wrapped around the hammer lol

You might try looking on gunparts.com. they have schematics that would at least let you see what it looks like. Another place would be a bookstore such as Borders. They will probably have a Firearms Assembly book there.

Usually, the first place I look for a part for something like that is Numrich (aka: The Gun Parts Corp.). Their catalog usually contains a bunch of exploded drawings/schematics, but I don't know if your revolver is there or not. Might be worth a look.
There used to be an outfit DBA "Bob's Gunshop" or something to that effect based out of Arkansas that specialized in parts for many of the relatively obscure European makes which were popular pre-GCA '68. Don't know if they're still around, but it might be worth a Google. Hope this is of some help. Good luck with the quest. |
