Scoping nylon 66

I have been told that Nylon 66s can and cannot be scoped. Have any of you had any experiences with this? Thanks in advance. mathcarver

Can be scoped, but "receiver cover" can move around affecting accuracy.

I have an old Weaver K4 on mine. The POI changes a bit between range sessions. Once adjusted it stays on target pretty well until the next time out. That said, it does better with the scope than with the irons and these old eyes of mine.

A pistol scope mounted on barrel, like a Burris Scout Scope mount.

The receiver cover is grooved for the standard .22 base(s); in my limited experience, the cover doesn't move and the scope sighting remains stable.

Yes, the receiver cover has standard 3/8" groove. This is for "tip-off" dovetail scope mounts.

The barrel wags around on Nylon 66s, not the receiver cover, which is held tightly by 2 screws.
Never try to educate someone who resists knowledge at all costs.
But what do I know?
