my Maadi and Ruger Mini-14 Tac

Well my headaches and frustration with non-functional M&P15ps's is over . I decided I was done with the Smith AR's when I found an unfired Maadi at a gunshow. I got rid of them to a friend who knows the history and was willing to make a deal. I got the Mini (which used to be mine) and some cash in the deal on the second AR. I've got a Dan Wesson 1911 at the gunshop with my name on it, so the cash will really be nice. I'm very happy to have two reliable rifles finally.

I just finally gave both of them a good cleaning. I love how easy the AK is to take down and clean. The mini is also a breeze. The AK only has around 300rds through it. The Mini has about 750. Both have been great, trouble-free shooters. While it was taken down, I went ahead and swapped the black synthetic stock on the Mini for a nice wood stock off a stock Mini. I'll post a pic tomorrow. Anyhow- both rifles have been flawless and I'm really happy with them. Anyone got any pics of a decent way to mount a red dot to a mini??
