Anybody have luck with this red dot?

I was originally looking at the Bushnell mini for around $100 at my local Cabelas. I liked the size and the name brand, but they are currently having a sale ($60)on these similar barska red dots and i was just wondering if anyone had used one of these before? ( http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shoot...ope/753484.uts )

This will just be sitting on top of my 10/22 build so it just has to stand up to .22 recoil and wont be used for SD

That actually worked real well on a flat top AR I tried out last week. Seemed good enough for the price.

I did my research for a couple of years on budget Red Dots for my 10-22's.

IMO the best value in a Red Dot for under $100 is the Primary Arms Gen 7 which is a Aimpoint T1 clone.

On my 10 22's with High Tech peep sights and a cut down and front part of the scope base reversed so the scope is foward of the bolt slide, it co-witnesses perfectly and the scope functions great.

I own several RedDots and only one Barska. The Barska is my low end dot and it's works fine but perhaps you could do better. ????
In general, I really like the RedDots types, mostly on handguns as they are great for old eyes. I talked a freind of mine into putting one on an M/L and he swears by it, especially after takeing a nice buck at 80 Yards. Honestly, that is what he told me !!!

I do understand that some of the low end dots, may give you paralax error. To date, i have not run into one ....

Be Safe !!!

Will it mount on a Weaver Rail?,,,

I can't find anything on the type/size of mount it will fit.

I want one to mount on a Beretta U22 NEOS,,,
The Beretta has a 3/4" (5/8?) Weaver rail.

Will this fit that rail?

I think it should fir the NEOS fine. Most Red Dots (all I've seen) have just 1 alignment bolt going through the mount so they will fit Weaver and Picatinny rails equally well. How do you like your NEOS? I love mine. Haven't tried the red dot on it yet though (although I may if I don't get my scores up soon )

Hello pgdion,,,

I like it well enough,,,
The gun is extremely reliable,,,
And the slender grips fit my hands nicely.

But the sights are the klunkiest I have ever seen,,,
That's the reason I wanted to try a red dot or reflex sight.
