Winchester Model 43 Clip

Are the 218 Bee, 25-20 and 32-20 cartridges interchangeable within the same clip? I assume they will not cycle in a 22 Hornet clip.

You are correct, they will not fir a 22 Hornet magazine, the feed lips are different. The body of the magazine is the same, so if you have a good smith that can modify the feed lips it can be done. Or you can just buy a 218 Bee mag here

sAY WHAT?

I've only SEEN two M43's in my life, both Bees, and both in the collection of the same guy!

They strike me as very scarce old time working man's rifles and I've always wanted one, but have never run up on one for sale!

And somebody's got magazines!!!!!???!!!!?????

Model 43 producton only lasted about 7 years. Winchester made 62,000 of them in 32-20, 25-20, 22 Hornet and 218 Bee. They were not very well received inthe post-WW2 era of magnums and uber-boomers, but there are a lot of folks who think they're pretty neat.
