93 Mauser IER scope mount Question:

Has anyone here put an IER scope on a Mauser 93 ("7x57 Spanish Mauser)? I have seen a scope mount that goes on the rear sight of "a Mauser" ..... are 93 rear sights the same as 98 rear sights?

Would this work as advertised? Anybody here done it?

I do not know if the M93 rear sight base looks like the M96 rear sight base.

Will the mount for either of the Swede mausers work for the Spanish Mauser?
