i herd mixed reviews on the 887 and the 590 is tried and true like most of the mossberg models. if you want capacity and your money's worth get the 590a1 model 9-shot.

I've checked the Remington 887 Nitro Mag Tactical since I've already own a Remington 870 Express Tactical shotgun, and also heard the different mixed review about the 887 too. I ended up buying the Mossberg 590 A1 Special Purpose with the attachable Ontario M1 bayonet. First Mossberg I've ever brought, and it won't be my last one.
