Happy 4th: Some Favorite American Hardware

Happy Forth of July to all.

I've been meaning to post some pictures for a while, but wanted to share a few pictures of two of my favorite American firearms.

First, my Springfield M1A Scout Squad, with a new Aimpoint H-1 and Ultimak rail. I really like the ability to co-witness the Aimpoint with the iron sights and have mounted the Aimpoint on an Arms quick-detach mount to allow use of a 4x extended eye relief scope as well:

Second, my Kimber with arched MSH, Rosewood grips and Surefire X400:

Hope you guys have a fun and safe holiday!

Very nice.
But, can I ask what the flash light is for on the M1A? I thought you might use it for home defense, but then I thought it might be to bulky or long, so I didnt know.
