Gen 4 G26/G36

Heard there are some problems with the Gen 4 9mm and 40s&w. Has anyone heard of problems with the Gen 4 G26 or G36? I'm looking at getting one or the other. Used to have a G19 so I'm used the snap of the 9mm. But I feel I can handle the push of a .45 easier. I've only shot .45 in a 1911. I hear the .45 is easy to handle with the G36. I have smaller hands and the G19 was alittle big for me. I want a smaller auto for CCW and am leaning to the .45. I do need to go to the gun store and see how this slim line G36 is. If I was to get the G26 I would have to get the Pearce "pinky extension". Need some good input. Thanks guys.

Neither of those guns exist.... so your first problem is to acquire one.

Go with the G36. It is a great pistol and carries very well. I've had one for quite a few years and enjoy shooting it. It is a handfull with Cor-Bons but anything else is a pleasure to shot.

the 36 is a pretty awesome gun! it fits the hand much better than the 26/27 and packs a big punch and surprisingly recoil is extremely manageable
