Speedloader trays for revolvers

In Action Pistol contests, I have seen the revolver shooters show up with 2-compartment tool bins on stands, that are drilled to hold cartridges ready to pick up with a speedloader, allowing one to get through the match with only 4 speedloaders and all the ammo arrayed for use, base up. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, I'd love to know where such trays can be bought, or how one would go about drilling a board accurately to make one. Thanks. (I'm switching to revolver this year.)

something like this? - http://www.pistoleer.com/hks/competition/

The box that they show is no longer available, but they do sell 'blocks'. Each block holds 6rds in the arrangement depicted. There are 5 blocks to a package. You simply mount the blocks to a 'plate' (e.g. a board) using screws they provide.

I've got one of the trays, it's quicker by hand though. http://s121.photobucket.com/albums/o...ent=mooner.flv is the best way I've come up with loading moon clips.

Thanks, guys!

I'm shooting a 7-shot 686 -- no premade blocks, it seems. A friend suggested painting or inking the tips of 7 rounds in the speedloader to mark drilling points in a board. A 10 mm bit should do it just fine. I'm ready to get started.

Speedloader Trays

Go to this website www.5starfirearms.com They make range blocks for revolver speedloaders out of billet aluminum.
