I just love 2nd Gens

Latest acquisition. US Army Tribute Colt Model 1851 Navy Percussion. Part of the American Military Colt Collection, that was produced in 1984 by the American Historical Foundation. This is made from a C Series 2nd Generation Colt Percussion revolver that was made in 1977. Gun is gold plated except for the screws, wedge, trigger and hammer. This one is # 20 of 100 Army Tribute revolvers produced.

I bet ... if you took that hog hunting, they'd just line up after word got around the sounder they had the opportunity to be taken with an ultra fine historical piece of art.

I'm only at 30 now Doc. Would be higher but I traded off the second set of Cav Commemoratives I had for a Model 1884 Trapdoor Carbine.

When you have all the plain Jane models MCB, the fancy ones are all that's left to buy. You're right, this will NOT be shot - just like the other 25 NIB ones. Unfortunately, they're more expensive.

Didn't say it stopped me from buying them. It's the scarcity if the limited editions that has slowed me down though.

Gun room has run pretty much out of space - safe's are full. I'm having to store the cased sets in the bedroom closet
