Shooting Nicknames

Recently my wife and I went shooting and it turns out for her second outing she is a pretty darn good shot. After me saying so she replied "just call me Ace" I laughed and said "sure if you were a fighter pilot in WWI" so the debate comes here. Is the nickname "Ace" appropriate for a good shot? lets here those opinions.

An Ace shot was the number one shot. Pilots who were aces were very good at aerial gunnery, snipers who made long distance kills are aces, if you can drill the ace of spades you are an ace shot. If she is that good I'd call her whatever she wants to be called and I would do it with a smile.

Um, her nickname for you wouldn't have anything to do with your forum name, would it?

It's the name of a popular anime series. Not sure if that's why he picked it though.

Mine

My wife has some shooting related nicknames for me. Especially when I buy a new gun. I can't put those nicknames here. There are rules you know.

For a while we called a friend's wife "dances-with-brass" after she caught hot .223 brass down the front of her shirt.

Now that's funny.

Reminds me of the way the glove box door would pop open on our beloved 1988 Isuzu Trooper and hit my wife in the knee.

Oh, and my wife likes to be called Shootin' Mama.

Since she's the one with the handgun,,,

I would call her anything she wants to be called.
