henry blueprints

anyone know of any detailed blueprints for a 1860 henry. I bought a brass frame at a gun show a few years back and would like to build it up. I will have to make some parts that I can't get

Go here and ask the same question in the special projects section you will more than likely get the answer.

you better be one hell of a machinist to duplicate a working toggle joint for the 1860. It would be a very involved project.

Heres the patent drawing

what parts cant you get?

There are no dimensioned drawings for the henry rifle available, zip, nada, zilch.

Uberti arms cooked theres up by buying an original and altering some of the sizes so it suited centre fire cartridges.

Best bet is to make friends with someone who owns one already, and take a night course in machining if you need it.

The machinist part of it is not the problem, a lot of uberti pars I can use. But I need the dimentions of the trigger bar which I do not have, and you can not buy.

I have no idea of what I'm talking about . . . . . . . . but would there be any patent drawings available?

alot of work around is involved. easiest would be to contact the united states patent office and see if they have the oriiginal specimen submitted to them by henry when he applied for his patent.
