Does anyone carry a P95
Hey everyone,
I normally carry a lcp but sometimes like to carry my p95. I just can not find a comfortable way to carry it though. I was wondering if anyone has found a good way to carry it with good concealment. Thanks |

I have carried a P95 and a P89 from time to time, for a while the P89 was all I had so that is what I carried. If you are looking for in the waistband carry, check out Don Hume. They have one the fit the P89/P95. The generic Uncle Mikes type holsters don't work to well due to where the Ruger Mag release is positioned. I also removed the right side mag release, because it would catch on my belt.

Have you looked at the Crossbreed Supertuck holsters. I have one for my Ruger SR9 and it virtually disappears even with my shirt tucked in. It is also pretty comfortable to wear. Thanks, Steven

My buddy carries his once and again. He too has the Galco COP 3 Slot OWB holster and swears by that it.
Keep in mind, that gun is pretty thick so you'll have to dress around it virtually no matter how you carry it. Second thing, make sure you have a good leather gun belt to support the weight. A belt is just as vital as a good holster.

All depends on your BMI, but a fanny pack sure will do the job (many very inconspicuous ones available on the market).
I used to be very large but lost 120lbs and now can conceal pretty much any way I choose (but boy do I miss the good ol' days of buffet style eating--I'm now OT)! -Cheers |

I've used a fanny pack too.. but then there are all the disadvantages of this
A good leather outside the wasteband holster along with a good belt and then a long shirt or jacket you don't take off is easiest....
My favorite is a Bianchi Black widow model: Ruger P-85... the barrel and slide are exposed on these and there is a secret to drawing from them... you have to slightly twist the pistol to keep the front sight from catching. A Bianchi model 100 size 11 inside the waste band works if you can find the sweet spot. |

Thanks
Thank you all for all of your input. Have any of you ever tried a galco jack holster.

My preference for the 95 is a Ruger logo'd Kydex belt holster BUT it's not a good choice for real concealed carry. There is no penalty for an occasional peak in this state so I don't worry about keeping it real close. For discreet carry, I use a pancake holster that doesn't ride very high. Bad shoulder and elbow make drawing from a high ride dificult.

I just picked up a grey "Passport" fanny pack from Ebay, and also an ironon, sew on patch which is the "Canon" logo. Now it looks like a camera bag. This fanny pack is designed as a holster with the outer pockets for odds and ends (mags) and a concealed inner pocket held with velcro which will easily carry a P95 or P89. Mine fit just fine. Additionally there is a top open zipper compartment which will hold a Ruger Blackhawk 4 5/8 barrel. Of course, only 1 at a time LOL.
