Remington 700 Info requested
I currently have a Reminton 700 that has a Mcmillian stock with a detachable magazine. The rifle is pushing 13 years old. I continue to have problems with rounds feeding from the magazine and have heard that Remington/Mcmillian has had these problems. Can anyone comment or provide specific documentation that I can research. Please and Thanks.

How stiff is the spring of the magazine? If it does not have sufficent pressure you will have problems with feeding. It could be that the magazine is some way not up far enough to engage rounds with the bolt. I had a simular problem with an ADL when the spring was weak in the magazine. Just a thought.
