Garand ejecting last round.
I have a Springfield Garand.
It has started ejecting the mag clip with one round left in it. Started doing it almost every clip. So I installed a heavier Fulton Armory Clip spring. Now it only does it sometimes. I need to get this to stop. Any suggestions on what part is causing this? Thanks. |

Next thing to replace is the clip latch itself, possibly the bullet guide.
While you're at it, just on general principles, buy a Fulton or Orion 7 recoil spring. The M1 recoil spring actually powers the entire action and a weak or worn, or too strong spring can cause odd problems. The Fulton/Orion springs are USGI power but high grade and cheap. |
