The .357Sig was developed to duplicate the ballistics of the
125grn .357 magnum. The .357Sig drives a 125grn 9mm (.355)
bullet to 1,450 fps. It has a reputation as a good man stopper
and good penetration on auto glass and bodies.

You must be correct. The incident does not show up on a Google search or search of Michigan newspapers. It is too long ago for me to recall where I read it. Better write it off as unverifiable.
