can anyone recommend a good holster for the ruger lcp

If you mean pocket holsters for the LCP:

Inexpensive yet effective: Desantis Nemesis or Superfly

More expensive but high quality: Meco Pocket Holsters

I bought a Fobus paddle for mine. They get a bad rap, but I like it alot.

+1 on the DeSantis Nemesis Pocket Holster - very affordable pocket holster for the LCP.

Every pair of men's pants has 2 or more (usually 4) LCP holsters sewn in.

Nemisis. That is if you want to pocket carry. Inexpensive, works well and looks as good as when I bought it about 18 months ago.
