Good luck two years in a row! heres the story!

last year i was invited from a friend to go down to Montana where his friend owned 50 000 acres of land, bordering South Dakota where i got a tag to take a mule or a whitetail. Last year i spotted a Monster Mule 387 yards away, i took aim and i squeezed the trigger on my buddies 243. win and dropped this beautiful animal in its tracks. No ground shrinkage at all. It weighed 320 pounds, and scored 170. This was my first mule and what a monster.

i just got back yesterday for my second time going down after either a mule or a whitetail. I came across a beautiful 155 class whitetail and let my buddy take it for inviting me back. Last hour of the last day and we came across another beautiful mule deer. This one didn't look as big, but it was still great. I took this one at just under 100 yards, shooting 243. win again. It weighed 260 and scored 173 and 3/8's. Guess i was Wrong. This one had more points to score, but wasn't as this or wide or tall. This one was more uniform. Another great trophy.
Hoping to go back next year and take a nice Pronghorn or a Whitetail this time.

anyways lets hear your story?

well, last year. Hunting in NC on land that i inherited from my grandfather, I almost got rained out due to a front moving through the night before. well, it finally quit down pouring at around 7:15. so i left the cabin and went and sat on the top of a hill of a 25 acre tract i had clear cut that summer. well, i watched a doe step out and present me with a clear shot. i shot... and missed however due to the wind she couldnt figure out where the shot came from. so she stopped and looked around. i shot... missed again. i ended up shooting 6 times at her and missed. naturally i was a little angry with this fact and thought something was wrong with my rifle. i called my dad on the radio to have him bring me some more ammo. as soon as he arrived i promptly reloaded. and he wanted to know where my deer was. no sooner than he said that he looked across the field and there was a buck following the same trail that i missed the doe on. so, not thinking i would even hit him i pulled up and still shot. well, he dropped. so i went and found him and proceeded to call my wife and mother to let them know i killed a deer. well, while on the phone having a conversation another buck walked down the same trail. that i was standing on. so i pulled up and dropped him 30 yards away from me.
