Saiga 7.62x39 Conversion
I have owned my Saiga for about 6 months now and I'm ready to convert it to the standard AK pistol grip/trigger configuration. I'm going to have a gunsmith assist me, but I need to get the parts. I've seen a few kits on GB. I just want to make sure I get all the parts I need, and they're quality parts. If someone has a shopping list of parts that I will need, or knows of a good place to by the complete kit, I'd like to know about it.
Also, as far as the stock goes, I'd really like an M4 style adjustable stock, no need for a folder, just and adjustable stock. I haven't found one (other than the tapco bolt on pistol grip crap) that is specifically made for a Saiga. ATI and several other make pistol grips and a large variety of buttstocks for AK's. Will these bolt onto my Saiga? If so, will it require modification to the stock and/or receiver? Any advice on my conversion process would be appreciated. |

I have used First Son Enterprises (FSE) for a trigger/hammer/sear kit. I got my bullet guide from Krebs Custom. Go check out the Saiga Forums over at http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?
