Engraved AR-15 Dust Covers

Found this while surfing the net last week and thought I'd post it here for those interested.
http://www.harengser.com/store/products.php?cat=11

I ordered one for my Colt M4 (.22) and received it over the weekend.

Pretty nice, particularly the Gadsden version.

Ah, I see you chose a .22lr "AR" made by a German BB-gun company to put your engraved american flag dustcover on.

Makes perfect sense.

Those things in no way help the function of the gun.

But darn, they're neat! I may get one for the Armalite.

Guess it's a matter of your point of view.....this one on their web site looks to be upside down.

It's not upside down. When it flips open, it says "One Kill". As in "One shot, one kill".

Hey, I like it / them...

more practical than stacking a battery powered super laser guided inverse optical ninja sponsored guidance system on top of the rifle with micro assisted light enhancing diode powered backup system under the barrel.

Ah, ranger dave. Adding so much to the discussion. Can't something just be neat? Christmas must a real blast with you around.

I personally think they're neat, and will likely be "waisting" my money on it. My choice, not yours. I respect your right to your opinion, but can't you respect other peoples' right to theirs?

I once worked in a neighborhood whose residents were known for their love of musical theater, if you know what I mean.

I was told that, honey, the shoes have to match the holster.

Waste of money for me.

If someone else wants one, have at it.

My gun is not a piece of furniture. I do not need a dustcover.

Hey gents,

I own a 4 axis CNC mill and the appropriate software for doing all/any of this.

Custom one off requests are not a problem either. Just need a JPEG image of what you'd like.

Here's a few samples of engraving I've done on my personal rifles:

This is Cathy Winstead's world championship winning smallbore silhouette rifle that I built.

Some of you guys are really off base. Man has been decorating his weapons since living in caves. Individualism and personal pride.

I haven't gone to the website yet but I'd like one that said "infidel".

Ha! Just went to the website and they do have one that says "infidel". I'm there!
