Shooting Shot in a Rifled Barrel

Is it ok or not. I have an Xtrema2 with rifled slug barrel and would only be able to hunt once a year with it if I can only shoot slug, but if I can shoot shot I might use it for upland also.

I never really thought of till someone asked.

True there is a donut effect, but The Box of Truth tests were with 00-Buckshot. Not what one would expect to use for the OP's upland hunting.
