The A5 Hammer

I just picked up a used A5 from Gander Mtn., when taking te gun down for cleaning(inside filthy) I found a skeltionized hammer. It has four .250 holes and one .156 hole at the hammer tip. I relize that it was installed for faster lock time, but there is no maker name on it, is there any information on this piece? Thanks

I refinished a number of A-5's and ran into those hammers on a number of occasions. No idea if they were stock or aftermarket.
