835 choke tube

I traded for a Mossberg 835 with a choke tube that has mod-2&bb steel all lead shot. Can I use 4,6 or other steel shot out of this tube. Thank you in advance for any help.

Yes you can, they are smaller than 2 and BB so they will pass through it just fine. I would read that stamping as "Up to" 2 and BB steel.
