My Project Gun
Well there were a couple reasons for the choice of platform
1) I already owned the gun and have had it for 14 years as a field gun 2) didnt want to own 2 guns when all it would take is a barrel swap and I would be set to go to the field. so I took my Mossberg 835 and started my project sorry no pics with the old walnut stock but you guys get the picture just need the synthetic forend, the mag tube extension, and then going to put a shell carrier and light mount on it. ![]() ![]()

In keeping with the typical recommendation our fearless moderator, Dave McC: The only accessory most shotguns need is a lot of ammo run through them. The Mossy pictured looks unused for a 14-year old gun. Could it be a closet queen?
1-oz, Up the old fuddy-duddies! It beats the alternative. I check the obituaries first thing every morning, if my name isn't there, I get on with my day. |

Gonna do anything about the gold trigger? It seems out of place on a tactical zombie blaster.

actually that gun has had hundreds of rounds through it, but where I live now I dont get to do as much shooting as I once did. so for about the last 6 years it has been sitting in the closet. also now that I live above the rifle line I use a .270 win for my deer hunting, which before this gun used to have to pull double duty for bird and deer.

If you're using the rifle for deer, then slap that wood stock back on that bad boy and use two barrels - one for HD and one for birds and put some rounds through it.........
