M1 Garand Replica??

I received my new issue of the Sportsman's Guide Shooters the other day and was thumbing through the pages when i came across this.
http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/c....aspx?a=506928

It doesn't even call it a Garand, just a "Famous U.S. WWII Infantry Rifle".
It says all parts are functional, but then says at the end that the clip is not functional.

Ok What is the deal with this thing? Can you fix the clip and make this a fully working rifle? Or is it just a big waste of time and money unless you want a wall mount?

It's just a wall hanger; a replica in looks only. Don't believe it's functional at all - certainly not at that price.
