Listing of Marlin 60/795 Aftermarket Stocks
First we have stocks...there several MFR's known to me and a few used purveyors, but they're generally enough.
If anyone knows of a MFR that I've missed in the next posts, feel free to make a post below INCLUDING a LINK in the very least to their website...preferrably a Link and Picture of the product. Let's try to keep this "Sticky Worthy" and High in Solid Content. I also tried to list the Least Expensive price I could find for each item. The Action of the Marlin 60 is basically the same as a Marlin 795...the differences start where the bullets load...clip mag or tube mag...so Bolt-On accessories are interchangeable for the OUTSIDE, but the stocks are Slightly different configurations. Bear in mind that not all 60's are made alike, you have New style with LSHO, and old style without it. There are SLIGHT differences between the two, but nothing that can't be resolved with a little hand-fitting. Model 60/99/990 Same for the 70/795/995/7000...expect a little modification/pillar bedding to be required for a Perfect Fit. New: ATI Fiberforce stocks http://www.gungarage.com/marlin_accessories.htm For the 795, you cut out the magwell hole & fill in the magtube area with whatever you prefer. HAND FITTING REQUIRED. ![]() BullpupGunStocks.com http://www.bullpupgunstocks.com/ Model 60 ![]() Model 70 (have to remove material for LSHO for 795/995/7000) http://www.bullpupgunstocks.com/grap.../marlin_70.gif Butler Creek for model 70/995 (have to remove material for LSHO if used for 795) http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/23943-1.html ![]() Midway USA Model 60 Grey Laminate, they do have other choices on their site http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct...tNumber=954781 ![]() Model 795 Synthetic http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct...tNumber=444233 ![]() NOS (New, Old Stock) & Used Stocks Bob's Gun Shop http://www.gun-parts.com/marlinstocks/ ALL are MARLIN GUN STOCKS AND FORENDS , Bob's Gun Shop.Marlin Gun Stocks in Walnut and Synthetic Stocks. Marlin Semi Finish Gun Stocks, Marlin Rifle Forends, Marlin Lever Action Stocks and Froends, Marlin Antique Stocks and Forends, Marlin Synthetic Numrich http://www.e-gunparts.com/model.asp?idDept=158 I've been bugging the squish out of Richard's Microfit Gunstocks to get a specific line of THESE going...for the 795/60's...but I think it's going to take a lot more letters from a lot more people. They can at present, be Special Ordered. But feel free to write 'em Richards Microfit Gunstocks There are 9 million model 70/795's that would love an option of this nature. http://rifle-stocks.com/silhouette.htm ![]() However, since most 10/22 stocks, with some WECSOG bedding, would work for a 795, and with a lot more mods, would work for a Model 60. Judge for yourself if it is something you'd want to try to handle, but only the VERY experienced in Gunsmithing/stock fitting, IMHO, should even try. That's the best of what I've found so far on Stocks Oh, and don't forget Marlin.com for New Items...and a few oddball items that only the guys in Customer Service/Repair know about. Hope this helps a few of y'all let folks know that there ARE accessories for Marlin 22's |

So you're saying that you think that bullpup stock would fit a 795?

Joel, Yes it fits, use the stock marked Model 70, which is the Father of the 795.
Any stock made for the Marlin 60 can be modified for the 795 easily. If you are handy with woodworking tools, even old M1 Garand Stocks ![]() Or Flintlock stocks ![]()

I really like the looks of that grey laminate stock from midway. Doesn't houge make an overmolded stock for the marlin 60 yet? I put the OD green hogue stock on my 10/22 and love it. I wonder if they are going to make one for the marlin 60?

marlin 795 stock
http://www.boydsgunstocks.com/Replac...fles-s/124.htm
If any one is interested, I've found a variety of aftermarket stocks on Boyd's all pretty reasonable at about $100.00. They all seem to be laminate, but there are some unfinished as well. |

I just put a Muzzelite Bullpup on my 1970's Model 60. It fit without any problem, very straight forward.
