Ruger LCR review

Hi there! I started a blog last week where I review Houston taco stands and guns. And some shady bars.

I wrote a review of the Ruger LCR (my first gun review), and I welcome any critique you may have. This is not a corporate site or anything, I'm just doing this for fun.

http://gunsandtacos.com/guns/gun_ratings/ruger-lcr/

Thanks for any feedback! I hope to review many more guns in the near future.

Crap, after reading your review, now I want one! I thought it was very well written. Very well done, even though you'll cost me $400+ bucks!

My girlfriend picked one up last weekend. We put some rounds through it and it worked great. The recoil wasn't bad at all. She had no problems with it and now I can get my S & W Airweight back!

Been waiting for 'em to be on the market for a while to be sure there's no problems. Love Rugers but their recent track record w/ new guns has been lackluster; LCP recall, SR-9 recall, .327 cylinders cracking....

SWMBO has a LCP that was gone a whole week on recall , could discharge if dropped. Solution: don't drop it!!

Anyway, local dealer took one in trade, said not nearly as accurate as his Smith. Couple written articles bragged about the trigger pull. Stopped at Pete's Gun Shop in Wheeling, WV and Ace Sporting Goods in Washington, PA on a trip to my sis's last week: both places impressed with the LCR. Boy at Ace gave his dad his S&W cause he liked the LCR better, shot it better. Another counter guy there had shot it and was also impressed. I dry-fired it and it does have a nice trigger and comfortable grip. I want one! BAD!!

Thanks for the kind words, folks. My next review will probably be the Beretta PX4 Storm, but that will be in a different subcategory.

I'm not a gun or ballistics expert, but I do a lot of shooting with different guns at my range job. Since we rent guns, I have some knowledge on what breaks and what doesn't, and about specific gripes our customers have about specific guns.

Thanks again!

I got mine last month at a local store for $429. I love it.

dude at my local shop said they have a shelf life if you fire them too much, and also price around GA is 320. So, call up some places and see if they will ship to you, because it will end up being cheaper anyway
EDIT- the shelf life was for the LCP, not the LCR, my bad
