Private Sell from Georgia to Tennessee????
Is this acceptable? I know Tennessee acknowledges Georgia's carry laws but is a private sell between 2 individuals acceptable or would this have to be conducted through the FFL in that State?

It'll have to go through a FFL.

Yep an FFL will be required.
In most (maybe all?) cases a long gun can be transferred at an FFL in either the buyer or seller's state of residence. If it's a handgun it will have to go through an FFL in the buyer's state of residence.
