gun manufactor question

My boss man was tellin me about a pistol he has. Said it was made by Baldwin Bike Company. I cant find any information on them. Has anyone heard of them or know where i can find info on them. Have never heard of them. Thanks for your time.

The only Baldwin gun I've ever seen was a shotgun by the Baldwin Gun Co. of New Orleans.

There is/was a Baldwin Hardware Store, in NO, that retailed firearms - and possibly could have had some firearms privately labeled for their firm/s sale, just like Sears,Roebuck, but on a much smaller scale.
