New Scope for Rem 700 SPS .223

I just placed an order for this gun, and im new to this whole buying a new gun and scope thing so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I would like to stay around $200 and I want something that would be good out to 300 yards at least.

Iv'e got a 4-14 power scope on mine and it is perfect for woodchucks out to 225. After that, the .223 drops more than I wanna figure, and the chucks seem smaller
