Haven't heard of them
Got any pics or links?
Just googled them, they look nice, beretta has a good name, cant imagine them selling poop guns.... What barrel length, style and caliber are you getting? Are you going to shoot CAS with them? I would probably give them a go, if the price is right ![]() http://www.beretta.com/index.aspx?m=53&did=1319#cps

They sound perfect mate, unless you do hear any bad rep on them, but like i said before, if Beretta has their name on 'em, they must be good. They look very similar to my Vaquaro's (I have 2 in 44 mag 5 1/2", mottly old west finish with black pearlite handles)
What are you thinking of paying for your pair? (whats the asking price?)

I've got one. It's a fine piece for the price and I enjoy it quite a bit but it does have the modern transfer bar ignition system similar to a newer Ruger. With that in mind I don't know how that affects CAS shooting but many people seem to be doing just fine with Rugers in CAS so...
As much as I like the Beretta I do like the New Vaquero's even more. I've got a stainless Montado and it seems like it's put together better in every respect than the Beretta (which is actually an Uberti as far as I know) but I do understand that you're looking at a sweet deal and that counts for a lot. $700 for a pair sounds like a great deal if they're both mint. Cheers, Oly P.S. Regarding the new ignition systems - for walking around with six loaded they can't be beat. They work well and it's nice to have the added safety and it's nice to have a full six. |

Good guns, fake case colors, traditional action with an unnecessary transfer bar.

A friend of mine shoots CAS and he had a VERY nice Stampede.
The thing I like about it is that its the most authentic feeling SAA repro, but it has a transfer bar so you can load all six safely. The Taurus Gaucho also has a transfer bar, but the action is so ligtht and slicked up it doesn't feel like any 1890s era peacemakers I ever handled. |
