I've got an Excell in 22 Mag with a 17 HMR spare barrel. Its been pretty accurate and reliable with the 22 Mag rimfire ammo. Never put the .17 barrel on the gun though. The indoor range I usually shoot at will not allow .17 to be shot.

I'm like Ranger61.
I have the Excel in MP-22 ( 22 mag ) And I love it. I have thought about getting the 17 barrel also, but haven't done it yet. Now I just installed a Leupold VX-III on it, and it is really a tack driver! But with the cost of the scope, it will definately be awhile before I can get the 17 barrel!
