Peconic

Try this one; it's the pick of the litter: Peconic River Sportsman's Club.

PRSC

Peconic River is a private club. You need to be a member or a member's guest to shoot there.

Yes, that it is. The OP said he wanted to know about clubs in Suffolk Co.
Are there any clubs that aren't private?

Ed: Good to know that. I see those ranges from the air when I'm up flying one of the sailplanes. I thought that they were Police ranges.

Well, it looks to me that the OP is looking to join a club so he can shoot. My reply that PRSC is private was meant to say that you can not just walk in and say, "I want to join and shoot here" You need to be sponsored by an existing member and voted in. PRSC only allows 500 members. Not all clubs are that way. There are clubs that have an unlimited membership.
