stoeger P2000 semi autos?

are these good guns? Stoeger is a part of the Benelli family and feature the inertia drive system, so id assume theyre decent guns

I had one for a while and was very impressed. Not quite as well finished as the Benelli, but mine shot just as well and never failed to function in the 2 years I owned it. Only sold it after I came across a deal too good to pass up on a Benelli and someone offered me more for the Stoeger than I paid for it.

I think Stoeger recommends breaking in with a couple of boxes of the heavier loads before going to the lighter loads. I just shot mine with a mix of whatever. I used some 3" steel, 3" turkey loads and some of the promotional loads from Walmart and never had an issue. I never shot anything less than 1oz. You might have problems with 7/8 oz loads.
